Fort Collins, CO -  Professional Chapter

EWB - Fort Collins Professionals

Established in January of 2007 we are a new chapter with many opportunities for involvement and room for growth. We currently have one established program in Peru.

Philosophy

EWB Fort Collins Professionals (EWB-FC) believes that every human being has the right to the fundamentals of life: food, water, shelter and healthcare.

Throughout the developing world, people are suffering for want of these basic rights. EWB-FC's mission is to respond efficiently and aptly to a community’s urgent needs with appropriate technology approaches in coordination with local humanitarian organizations.

We
also believe it is essential to train local people and build the capacity of local organisations so that they can continue to provide upkeep and maintenance of projects and other services long after EWB-FC has left the country

History

EWB-USA is based out of Longmont Colorado and was established in 2000. Since that time they have expanded to many chapters with over 170 active projects in 2007.
