Engineers Without Borders

The purpose of the Community Development Opportunities Manual is to build a program in Dinamarca based on community driven planning, decision-making, ownership, and control.

Currently, EWB-FC is writing the CDOM technical sections: water, sanitation, agriculture, energy and land survey. Each technical section will include 3 to 5 preferred alternatives detailing the costs and pros/cons of each alternative.

In spring 2009 a small team from EWB-FC will present the CDOM to Dinamarca in a training format. At this time Dinamarca and EWB-FC will work together to prioritize sustainable projects based on available resources including people, funds, and materials. Future EWB-FC projects in Dinamarca will be conducted in the order identified on this trip.
